About
We {heart} women in IT.
Started in 2004, the Women in IT conference represents a consortium of companies and universities dedicated to growing a pipeline of vibrant local talent in the greater Cincinnati region. Each year, approximately 200 high school students and 50 women mentors from Cincinnati companies gather together in pursuit of the following goals:
- To provide young women in high school with visibility into careers for women in technology and information systems
- To reach as many high school women as possible, providing them with the evidence and insight into the many benefits associated with an education and career in IT
- To showcase our local universities as a high value means for local IT talent to achieve their technology education and career goals
We are deeply grateful to the support from our sponsors and the personal investments made by our mentors. We continue to be awed by the dedication of the teachers and school administrators who are so committed to the future of these young women. We couldn't do this without you!
